Anya O’Sullivan
Anya is a DELTA qualified teacher with over six years’ teaching experience. She has a masters in Sociocultural linguistics from Goldsmiths university. Anya has taught overseas in Japan, South Korea, and Australia. She has experience teaching exam classes, Business English, General English, and Young Learners. Anya also worked as Assistant Director of Studies in Oxford at the Young Learner centre.
Charles Lowe
Charles has been working for IH London since 1975, with breaks for teaching in Sudan, Poland, Japan, Spain, and Morocco. His professional roles include: teacher, teacher trainer, business English teacher, business English teacher trainer, school director, and lecturer at London University.
Melanie Bryant
Melanie has been teaching for 27 years. Her wide-ranging experience includes delivering specialist courses in marketing, human resources, management, finance, journalism, politics & diplomacy and English for veterinary surgeons. In her classes at IH London, she has taught international sportsmen, CEOs of large multinationals, famous actors and TV presenters, as well as highly motivated, bright young
professionals on the career ladder. She is a trainer on the English UK IBET teacher training scheme.
Nick Hamilton
Nick has been teaching since 1983 and has taught and trained teachers in Germany, Turkey, Poland, Lithuania, China, Russia, and the UK. He has an MA in Modern Languages from Edinburgh University and the RSA Diploma in English Language Teaching. Over the years he has spoken at many ELT conferences, specifically about Business English, and he co-wrote the book Five Minute Activities for Business English, published
by Cambridge University Press.
Ozlem Birgul Yuges
Ozlem had an MA from the University of Westminster and is studying for her PhD in Trainer Training in Intercultural Communication. She has been teaching English since 2007 and has been with The Executive Centre since 2017. She holds multiple language training certificates including TEFL, TESOL, CELTA and DELTA Module Two, Developing Professional Practice. She is also a Culture and International Business English Trainer. In addition to teaching, she also works for ICC-Europe’s Language Association.
Sally Paleti
Sally runs the Occupational English Test (OET) course at IH London for doctors, nurses and pharmacists, having 20 years prior experience in
the pharmaceutical industry. Sally joined IH London in 2010 and has taught specialist English courses in a diverse range of sectors, including law, HR, retail, management, marketing, and design. Sally has a passion for teaching exam classes, including OET and IELTS. She is student centred and is an advocate of using technology to help optimise students’ learning.
Alan Cargyl
Alan has been an academic manager in both International House Poland and at the Executive Centre. In his twenty years at the Executive Centre, Alan has been a frequent speaker at Business English conferences. He is a trainer of teachers in Business English, an OET medical English trainer and is experienced in delivering specialist courses in every field ranging from marketing, HR and finance to journalism, politics and diplomacy and law.
