Steps for success
We take your child’s dreams seriously and we have steps for success that we follow so that your child receives the best teaching with us and has a great time.
The best courses
We will help your child learn and progress in English and life skills such as teamwork, confidence and meeting new friends. Our courses are designed to match your child’s interests and learning style.
Your child is an individual
We can give you guidance on choosing the right course for your child and our experienced teachers adapt the courses to suit the students in the class.
We keep you informed
You will be given clear and accurate information about all aspects of your child’s course and centre, before and during their time with us. We also have a live photo gallery (with parental permission) so you can see your child learning and having fun when they are in the UK. There is free Wi-Fi in every young learner centre, so you can also stay in touch with your child directly on their device.
Our teachers
All teachers have English language qualifications relevant to the courses they are teaching. The whole teaching team has a range of experience, knowledge and skills matched to the courses and the needs of the students. Find out more about our teachers.
Our senior academic team
Our young learner teams are supported by our head office and adult school in London, which is the no.1 year-round language school with the best value courses in central London, rated by the EL Gazette and based on British Council inspections. IH London teaches across the full learning journey, with staff who know what success looks like at every stage.
Feedback and improvement
Your child will have a 24/7 on-site team looking after their learning and well-being. Everything will be monitored to make sure they are learning happily and having a great time.
We listen to your child
Your child will be encouraged to give us feedback (and we welcome yours too) so we can continue to improve their experience while they are with us.
Diversity, equality and inclusion
Diversity is celebrated at International House London and we treat everybody fairly and equally. In 2019, we welcomed students from 44 countries on our young learner courses. We also aim to attract a diverse community of staff from a broad range of backgrounds, demographics and cultures, and create an inclusive environment in which everyone can succeed.
