Our courses are fun, interactive and dynamic teaching sessions, with collaborative project work, that develop both language skills and 21st century skills, such as collaboration, creativity, flexibility, media literacy, technology literacy, and more.

We can also organise a range of bespoke activities for specialist courses including topic-based workshops (for example, coding and robotics), company visits, university visits and themed trips.

We believe that language learning goes way beyond the classroom and our programmes immerse students in British culture.

Learn English with Harry Potter

IH Edinburgh Young Learner Centre in Newbattle College is the perfect setting for a Harry Potter inspired course, with its Great Hall, Old Library and Crypt.

J.K. Rowling also wrote some of Harry Potter in an Edinburgh café (The Elephant House) and took inspiration from the landscape for her characters and locations.

Learn English with Scottish History

Learn English and explore topics such as the history of Scottish clans and how tartan is made, the Royal Mile, Stirling Castle and the Edinburgh Dungeons.

Online courses for groups

Bespoke courses for groups now available all year online. Your group can benefit from live teaching from IH London teachers and fun collaborative activities for students from wherever you are in the world. It’s a great addition to a visit to the UK or for those unable to travel.
