Italian Level 1 | Afternoons

Italian Level 1 is a Beginners Italian course for students who have never studied the Italian language before. 

Our Italian language classes take place at our school in Covent Garden with a qualified, experienced teacher and fellow students. Evening language classes at IH London are dynamic and interactive as the emphasis is on spoken communication, which is achieved through lots of group work and role-plays. At the same time, there is systematic work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, so that you can improve on all aspects of the language. Your teacher speaks in the target language throughout, so that you can refine your comprehension and listening skills.

The following Sunday courses will last 5 lessons, instead of the usual 6, with 2.5 hours lessons from 10:30 to 13:00.

Italian Pre-Holiday | 2-Day Intensive

  • Course Details

Our Pre-Holiday 2-Day Intensive course is an ideal introduction to the Italian language and culture for holiday makers and short business trips. The course is designed for complete beginner students who have never studied the language before.

Our Italian language classes are dynamic and engaging, and are planned and delivered by qualified, experienced teachers, who will speak in the target language almost exclusively to allow for total immersion.

 

Course Content

During the course you will learn how to:

  • Socialise and make casual conversation with the locals
  • Order food and drinks at bars and restaurants
  • Ask for tourist information and arrange a day trip or activity
  • Ask for advice at the pharmacy
  • Speak at the hotel reception and make a complaint
