Pre-Intermediate Greek Face-to-Face Courses
Greek Level 9 | Evenings
- Course Details
Greek Level 9 is a Pre-Intermediate Greek course for students who have been studying the Greek language for a while. Greek Level 9 requires that you have previously studied Greek Level 8 or a course of at least 96 class hours.
Lessons take place once a week.
Course Content
Communication aims
- Entertainment
- Arranging to go to a function with my friends
- Asking for permission in order to do or not to do something
- Asking someone to do or not to do something
- Revision of all previous knowledge (communicative, grammar & vocabulary)
Linguistic aims
- Subjunctive revision and a lot of practice (again)
- Past tense of the verbs in passive voice (again)
- Negative imperative = negative subjunctive
- Imperative and pronouns / Negative subjunctive and pronouns
- Feminine pronouns in -ος / -οι (η οδός)
- Indefinite pronouns (e.g. μερικοί, μερικές, μερικά etc.)
- Adjective and adverb πολύς, πολλή, πολύ / πολύ
- Vocabulary:
- Entertainment (music, cine, theater)
- Adjectives indicating origin

Greek Level 10 | Evenings
- Course Details
Greek Level 10 is a Pre-Intermediate Greek course for students who have been studying the Greek language for a while. Greek Level 10 requires that you have previously studied Greek Level 9 or a course of at least 108 class hours.
Lessons take place once a week.

- Sending a message describing the holidays I had
- Talking about past actions
- Transactions
- Buying a mobile phone programme
- Making a transaction at the bank
- Making a transaction at the post office
Linguistic aims
- Past tense
- Verbs A and irregular verbs at past tense
- Verbs B1 & B2 at past tense
- Personal pronoun at genitive form (type strong and weak with preposition)
- Female nouns ending at -ση, -ξη, -ψη
- Vocabulary:
- Words & phrases used with past tense
- Basic vocabulary for the bank
- Basic vocabulary for transactions at the post office

- Course Details
Greek Level 11 is a Pre-Intermediate Greek course for students who have been studying the Greek language for a while. Greek Level 11 requires that you have previously studied Greek Level 10 or a course of at least 120 class hours.
Lessons take place once a week.

- Visiting a doctor
- Giving an order
- Good wishes for birthday and nameday
- Giving wishes for Christmas and Easter
- Describing customs of traditional feasts

- Simple Imperative form with personal pronouns
- Negative orders
- Adjectives ending in -α and -ως

Greek Level 12 is a Pre-Intermediate Greek course for students who have been studying the Greek language for a while. Greek Level 12 requires that you have previously studied Greek Level 11 or a course of at least 132 class hours.

Greek Level 13 is an Intermediate Greek course for students who have studied the Greek language to a fairly high level. Greek Level 13 requires that you have previously studied Greek Level 12 or a course of at least 144 class hours.
Lessons take place once a week.
