Japanese Level 31 | Evenings

  • Course Details

Japanese Level 31 is a Pre-Intermediate Japanese course for students who have been studying the Japanese language for quite some time and who are wanting to progress to a more advanced level. Japanese Level 31 requires that you have previously studied Japanese Level 30 or a course of at least 360 class hours.

Our Japanese language classes take place at our school in Covent Garden with a qualified, experienced teacher and fellow students. Evening language classes at IH London are dynamic and interactive as the emphasis is on spoken communication, which is achieved through lots of group work and role-plays. At the same time, there is systematic work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, so that you can improve on all aspects of the language. Your teacher speaks in the target language throughout, so that you can refine your comprehension and listening skills.

Normally, in general, should~, must~

Used to express something that is considered to be common knowledge.

例)残業ざんぎょうが続つづくのはいやなものだ。

 

④「もの&こと」の整理せいり

Difference between もの&こと

例)人は疲つかれれば、自然しぜんに眠ねむくなるものだ。

例)趣味しゅみは映画えいがを見ることです。

⑤~ということだ

It is said that~(Used to express hearsay)

Rather than V2, it is ~to V1  Used to compare doing two things.

⑤~なら If  Used to take up as a subject what the other party has said or what you are thinking about in order to express your opinion or judgement on the matter.

例)物(もの)を買うなら、オンラインショップと決(き)めている人がいる。

⑥「なら、と、ば、たら」の整理(せいり) Revising all conditionals

Vテ欲しい・Vナイないで欲しい

Want someone to V or not to V. Used to express a request.

例)夜遅(よるおそ)く歌(うた)わないで欲(ほ)しい。

Used to express partial negation frequently in conjunction with adverbs like ぜんぶ、いつもetc.

Used to indicate that someone does or does not do something sometimes/once in a while.

Used to express that a situation, attitude, etc, varies according to a condition.

例)考(かんが)え方(かた)は人によって違(ちが)う。
